Construction and home renovation are picking up the pace as home sales reached peak numbers in June 2013. According to Southern California Public Radio, home sales throughout the country have risen by 38 percent in the last 12 months; fueling the economy as other industries lag behind. One economist even thinks that there will be even more gains in the future, provided that the real estate industry continues to improve, since the current job market hasn't fully recovered yet. As far as many Californians are concerned, however, more homes simply mean more opportunities for renovation. The National Association of Home Builders expressed that they are confident that the on-going recovery of the housing market will fuel more home construction projects throughout the country, including plans for home renovation.
